Plympton
Plympton sits inland on Anzac Highway, between the city and the beach, close to the airport. It has a mix of post-war homes, newer townhouses and groups of units, many with shared driveways. Anzac Highway itself is a busy road, so where the home fronts a main road, tell us where a truck can stop safely.
Henley Beach and West Lakes
Henley Beach is built around Henley Square and Seaview Road, with homes and apartments facing the sea and narrower streets behind them. Like Glenelg, it gets busy on warm weekends. West Lakes was built around its lake, with family homes, townhouses and units along curving streets and a large shopping centre at its heart. Waterfront homes can have long side paths to the street, which is worth mentioning when you call.
Semaphore and Port Adelaide
Semaphore, around Semaphore Road and its jetty, has older cottages and villas on narrow streets with kerbside parking. Port Adelaide is Adelaide’s old port, with heritage streets and buildings beside newer apartments and townhouses on the waterfront. Older homes mean narrower doors and halls; newer buildings mean lifts and car parks. Either way, the plan starts with how far it is from the door to the truck.

What to tell us about a western suburbs home
- Beach traffic. Whether the home is near Jetty Road, Henley Square or the foreshore, where weekends are busy.
- Buildings. For apartments, the lift booking, the loading dock or zone and any car park height limit.
- Narrow streets. Older cottages in Semaphore and around the port often have kerbside parking only.
- Side paths. Waterfront and corner homes can have long paths from the street to the door.
